Rosewood Puebla Rebranded as Azul Talavera

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - January 27, 2020

One of the top hotels in Mexico has a new brand.

The former Rosewood Puebla is now an independent hotel, having been rebranded as the Azul Talavera Hotel.

The luxury hotel had first opened its doors in 2017; hotel officials said there would be no downtime for the transition to the new brand.

The property has a total of 78 rooms and suites and a spa, along with three eateries and a rooftop bar.

“[The hotel’s] operation will remain under the same team of professionals who have been a part of the hotel since it first emerged in 2017,” the Azul Talavera said in a statement.

“A new stage begins today for this historic property under the name Azul Talavera Hotel. We would like to thank each and every one of our collaborators for their support in making this a successful transition, as well as the government authorities, suppliers and clients. Our aim will be to provide lodging experiences with the highest level of service and quality. Starting today, we are ready to welcome guests and visitors, and to show them the best of Puebla,” said Manuel Leal, Managing Director at Azul Talavera Hotel.
