Caribbean Airlines Adding New Seasonal Jamaica Flights

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - October 1, 2019

By the Caribbean Journal staff

Caribbean Airlines is launching a new seasonal route for the upcoming holiday season, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The Trinidad and Tobago-based air carrier will launch new flights between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The new service will be available on select dates between Dec. 15 and Jan. 7, according to the company’s Web site.

The company has already launched reservations for the flights.

The move marks a temporary relaunch of service for the Fort Lauderdale-Montego Bay route, which the company discontinued last year.

“We keep abreast of our customers; travel trends, and are pleased to offer customers options, especially during peak holiday seasons,” said Garvin Medera, CEO of Caribbean Airlines. “With incentives such as triple miles and extra free bags, we are competitively positioned to be the air carrier of choice between South Florida and Jamaica for this Christmas season.”
