The luxe Saint Peter’s Bay resort in Barbados has named a new general manager.

Joseph Violi has been tapped by UNNA Resorts for the role, in which he will serve as group general manager of both the 82-room Saint Peter’s Bay and the 52-unit Port Ferdinand Yacht and Beach Club Residences.

Violi, a 30-year veteran of the industry, was most recently serving as the general manager of The Renaissance on Turtle Creek in Texas.

“I am thrilled to be a part of the dedicated team at Saint Peter’s Bay Luxury Resort and Residences and Port Ferdinand Yacht and Beach Club Residences,” Violi said. “Both properties embody the finest of Caribbean luxury living and I couldn’t be more excited to lead a team who care for our guests deeply and provide an unforgettable Bajan experience.”

Violi’s portfolio will also include the Nikki Beach beach club, located at Port Ferdinand.
