A New Steakhouse at the Baha Mar

Nassau’s Baha Mar is quickly becoming a culinary destination in its own right.

Sbe’s Disruptive Restaurant Group has added another hot eatery at the Cable Beach megaresort, this time with the launch of Carna by Dario Cecchini, a modern steakhouse.

The Bahamas’ newest steakhouse joins a broad array of sbe restaurants already at the property, including ‘lia, Katsuya, Cleo, Bungalow, Bond, Privilege, Monkey Bar and the recently-launched Umami Burger beachfront food truck.

Carnia is the brainchild of Dario Cecchini, a legendary butcher from Panzano in the Chianti region of Tuscany.

“We’re extremely honored to partner with Dario on his first restaurant in North America. The talented butcher is an industry pioneer with profound respect for his craft,” said sbe CEO and Founder, Sam Nazarian. “Carna will be an incredible addition to the property’s already prominent array of international restaurants. I would like to thank Graeme Davis, President of Baha Mar for working with the sbe team to launch the only steakhouse of its kind in the region.”

The menu will feature steaks sourced from farmers in locations including Catalonia, Spain and Panzano.

Executive Chef Thomas E. Griese will handle the day-to-day operations.
