Interval International’s Big Conference in Aruba

Shared ownership giant Interval International is set to host a major conference in Aruba this month.

The 20th annual International Shared Ownership Investment Conference, which will be set at the Hyatt Regency Aruba, will take place from Sept. 25-27, according to the company.

“In addition to offering a top-down overview of what new entrants will need to know as they consider this exciting industry, the program will showcase the different profit centers of a shared ownership project, as well as current industry trends,” said Marcos Agostini, Interval’s executive vice president of global sales and business development, in a statement. “Attendees will also hear from leading authorities about shifts in consumer behavior and how to identify target audiences.”

The industry event will feature everything from educational sessions and networking events to “an in-depth understanding of this compelling hospitality segment and facilitate business opportunities for attendees,” Interval said.

It’s also another significant conference for the Dutch Caribbean island, which has been increasing its profile as a conference destination, most notably with the recent Happiness Conference.

The conference comes as the industry continues to see marked change, from RCI’s continued moves in the Caribbean to the renewed growth of Marriott Vacations.
