Antigua’s Curtain Bluff to Undergo $13 Million Renovation

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - November 9, 2016

Venerable Antigua resort Curtain Bluff has announced that it will close in May 2017 for a $13 million renovation project.

Reopening of the 72-room hotel is scheduled for October 28, 2017.

The six-month-long revamp, which the resort says is its most significant since opening in 1962, will include a complete overhaul of the resort entrance, dining areas, bar, lounge and reception.

“Our upcoming renovation is a testament to Curtain Bluff’s commitment to providing an experience with luxury accommodations matched with the highest level of service our guests consistently return here for, and the modern amenities that cater to today’s traveler,” said Rob Sherman, the resort’s managing director.

Curtain Bluff’s most recent round of enhancements included its quartet of Hulford Suites (which each received an infinity-edge plunge pool), and the redesigned Terrace Suite.
