How to Live on Pink Sands Beach

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - August 8, 2016

Want to live on Harbour Island?

The Pink Sands Resort, one of the region’s top hotels, has announced its first-ever real estate offering, with a combination of new and existing luxury cottages for a limited number of buyers with prices starting at $1.5 million.

Each of the 25 villas are located throughout the resort’s 20 acres to best capture its views and access to beaches.

Several new British Colonial-style one and two-bedroom cottages are currently under construction, while existing cottages are being refurbished as part of the resort’s biggest renovation since opening in 1951, led by British interior designer David Flint Wood.

In addition to the expansion and refurbishment of the cottages, many of which will feature private plunge pools, the property is also expected to undergo renovations to its reception area, lobby and Blue Bar, which has been serving fresh island cuisine and classic Bahamian cocktails to guests for the past 65 years.

“The resort hosts many guests who have vacationed here for generations as well as many discovering the treasured property for the first time,” says General Manager Thomas Parke. “We look forward to this next phase which we believe will encourage travelers to continue visiting charming Harbour Island.”

All units can be placed into a Rental Management Program, which ensures that the property is around for generations to come.
