How to Live on Cable Beach in Nassau

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 30, 2016

There will soon be a new way to live on one of the region’s best beaches.

A major real estate project is making progress on Cable Beach in Nassau.

And the $70 million ONE Cable Beach project is on track for its 2017 delivery date.

“There is definitely more traffic on property with the construction activity,” said Matthew Marco, Sales & Marketing Director at developer Aristo. “People are excited to see this work of art come to life. Part of the third floor has already been poured and we expect a roof on the building by the end of summer with completion summer of 2017.”

Residences at the project range from $575,000 for a one-bedroom, $695,000 for a two-bedroom and $4.75 million for a 3,900-square-foot, three-bedroom seafront penthouse.

The development also includes ocean and garden views, a swimming pool, a fitness center, 24-hour security and storm-rated windows, among other amenities.

The project is generating up to 150 construction jobs, according to developers — and generating global buyer interest.

“We are noticing increased interest out of Europe for permanent residency together with North American cities that have direct flights to Nassau,” Marco said.

The project plans to begin marketing more heavily to potential buyers in Europe this year, with trips planned in London and Geneva next month.

Aristo has built more than $50 million in real estate in the Bahamas, with another project planned to break ground on Paradise Island later this summer, THIRTY | SIX.
