Dominica is home to the Caribbean’s greatest hiking trail: the 115-mile-long Waitukubuli Trail.

But if you’re not in the mood for a grueling hike, you can try the Waitukubuli By Sea tour at Dominica’s Secret Bay hotel.

The boat tour takes you around part of the hiking trail — but from the vantage point of the sea. And it takes you to to Douglas Point, one of the island’s best snorkeling spots, Douglas Point, or, as it’s known locally, Split Rock, named after the rock that fell off the side of a cliff and split into two beneath the sea.
