Royal Caribbean Begins Construction on New Oasis-Class Ship

Royal Caribbean has officially begun construction on the company’s fourth Oasis-class ship.

The keel was laid on the new ship at the STX shipyard in St Nazaire, France.

The ceremony saw a 1,000-ton-block lifted by crane into the building dock.

The ship has yet to be named.

The ship is slated for delivery in the spring of 2017, according to the company.
