After 100 Days, a Struggle for Martelly

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - August 23, 2011 - 6:33 am

As University of Miami School of Law Professor and former Aristide advisor Irwin Stotzky wrote in the Caribbean Journal today, the first 100 days of Michel Martelly’s presidency have been a struggle, with Haitian lawmakers twice rejecting choices by Martelly for prime minister. Today, there is more discouragement than hope.” [Miami Herald]
