The Top 12 Turks and Caicos Hotels

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - August 1, 2015

Think top Turks and Caicos hotels and you probably think of high-priced hotels in the tourist hub of Providenciales. Think again. Our picks for the best Turks and Caicos hotels aren’t all expensive and they aren’t all in Providenciales. But they are all equally terrific Turks and Caicos stays, with some new additions for 2017, led by the magnificent new Shore Club.

The Shore Club.

One of the most impressive new hotels to come on stream in the region in some time, this Hartling Group development is a true stunner, with a remarkable mix of Caribbean-meets-South Beach design and some seriously spacious rooms. The food is superb and the service even better. It’s the new flagship among Turks and Caicos hotels.

Turks and Caicos Hotels

Point Grace Three things we love about this Grace Bay charmer: the location midway along Grace Bay; romantic al fresco dining at Grace’s Cottage restaurant; and relaxing en suite in claw-foot bathtubs.

Turks and Caicos Hotels

Amanyara A world apart from Grace Bay, this pricey Asia-inspired cloister on Provo’s northwest tip features slick villa suites; a stunning pool deck; and because of its location, spectacular sunset views.

The Sands at Grace Bay.

The Sands at Grace Bay As good an all-around resort as you’ll find in the Turks and Caicos, this resort has spacious rooms, a privileged perch on Grace Bay Beach and an intoxicatingly tranquil ambience. In short, this is a beautiful resort.

Parrot Cay turks and caicos hotels

Parrot Cay If private-island resorts are your thing check out this secluded 1,000-acre sanctuary (reachable only by boat) where celebs go to escape the paparazzi and Donna Karan owns and home and Keith Richards has vacayed.

Turks and Caicos Hotels

Grace Bay Club Enormous suites; an oceanfront Infiniti Bar that appears to touch the horizon; and beachfront fire pits made for late-night canoodling: this posh resort on Grace Bay checks all the boxes. It’s also a Leading Hotel of the World.

Turks and Caicos Hotels

The Palms Spacious suites with tricked-out kitchens and luxurious bathrooms make this resort feel like home – if home were a plush spread smack on the sands of one of the best beaches in the Caribbean.

Turks and Caicos Hotels

The Meridian Club Retreat in Robinson Crusoe style to this rustic and informal private-island resort on Pine Cay (reputedly the oldest continuously operating hotel in these parts), where there’s no TV, phones, or organized entertainment, and shoes are strictly optional.

Turks and Caicos Hotels

The Gansevoort Turks and Caicos See and be seen at this Grace Bay hipster hangout that’s every bit as slick and stylish as its New York City and Dominican Republic sister resorts.

Turks and Caicos Hotels

The Somerset on Grace Bay This elegant hotel has two stunning pools, the swanky Pavilion restaurant, and 53 spacious suites you might never want to leave – which would be a shame since the sandy 12-mile sweep of Grace Bay is steps away.

 Turks and Caicos Hotels

Ocean Club Resorts Stay at one but play at two at Ocean Club and Ocean Club West, a pair of family-friendly condo hotels a mile apart from each other on Grace Bay where you’ll enjoy full exchange privileges and a complimentary shuttle between the two.

Turks and Caicos Hotels

Coral Gardens If you like snorkeling you’ll love the location of this Grace Bay resort, which is “thisclose” to the thriving coral barrier reef at The Bight.

Turks and Caicos Hotels

La Vista Azul On the hillside above Turtle Cove marina, these suites offer sweeping ocean views and, with rates that start at $195 a night, one of the Turks and Caicos’ best values.
