Haiti, Argentina Meet in Buenos Aires

Haitian President Michel Martelly is meeting today with Anibal Fernandez, the chief of staff for President Cristina Kirchner. Argentina is part of a group of Latin American countries contributing a total of $100 million for Port-au-Prince’s Technical Secretariat Unasur-Haiti. Kircher is unavailable for family reasons. The two nations will discuss Argentina’s ongoing presence in Haiti, along with microfinance and other projects. [Haiti Libre]
