There’s a new gateway from France to several Caribbean destinations.

Air France and Air Antilles have signed a codeshare agreement to partner on the offer of six new destinations in the Caribbean.

The Air Antilles destinations (operating out of Martinique and Guadeloupe) include St Lucia, San Juan, Santo Domingo, Grand Case, Philipsburg and Dominica.

The new agreement follows an initial partnership between the two signed in 2012 on Dominican Republic routes.

It means travelers can book an Air France flight and the connection on Air Antilles with a single ticket.

The codeshare agreement will begin taking effect April 1.
