Five Petite Caribbean Beaches to Discover

Bigger isn’t always better; sometimes all it takes is the smallest strip of sand to put you in a carefree Caribbean state of mind. These are strands for the discerning beach seeker who values serenity over size. Here are five secret, petite pieces of Paradise where we love to spread our towel.

Frenchman’s Cove, Jamaica

In Port Antonio, this small scallop of sand, bordered by a lush garden with a river running through it, is a long-weekend go-to for Kingstonians.

This tiny white-sand oasis (also known as Smith Barcadere) is less than 15 minutes from Seven Mile beach but feels a world apart.

On Middle Caicos, you can’t help but be seduced by this smile-like sweep, which faces snorkel-friendly Dragon Cay, just offshore.
