Caribbean Photo of the Day: Guana Island, British Virgin Islands

By: - January 4th, 2015

It’s a bit of a secret.

But for those in the know, Guana Island, the 850-acre private island in the British Virgin Islands, is a slice of untouched paradise.

Home to a tiny 15-room hotel, it’s a nod to a different era of the Caribbean, one where absolute silence is the norm.

It’s also home to some pretty spectacular beaches, as above.

It’s a place that makes other private islands seem, well, public in comparison.
