The Caribbean has a brand-new, sleek rooftop lounge — at the Karibe Hotel in Petion-Ville Haiti.

The new lounge, called Asu, is located at the top of what is Haiti’s leading conference hotel.

It’s also the highlight of a recently-completed expansion project at the property, which has added 103 new rooms.

The project involved an investment of $19 million.

Haiti’s booming hotel sector now has a total of 2,350 rooms in its stock, according to government figures.
