Blue Diamond Acquires St Lucia’s Smuggler’s Cove Resort

Blue Diamond Resorts has acquired the Smuggler’s Cove Resort & Spa in St Lucia, the Canada-based company announced this week.

The all-inclusive beachfront resort is the latest Caribbean property for Blue Diamond, whose portfolio includes the Royalton, Memories and Grand Lido brands.

It currently includes four restaurants and five bars, along with more than 350 bungalow-style rooms and its Namaste Spa on a site just north of Castries.

Blue Diamond, which was founded in 2011, represents more than 7,000 rooms in six countries in the region.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
