Antigua and Barbuda Art Week Has Murals, Music, and a Whole Lot of Culture
You’re standing beneath the Antiguan sun, a brush in your hand and a canvas in front of you. Around you, music swells from a nearby courtyard. A poet’s voice carries over the breeze. There’s movement everywhere—color in every direction. This is an invitation to see a Caribbean destination through the eyes of its artists.
This is Antigua and Barbuda Art Week — and it’s coming back this fall, bigger and more immersive than ever.
From November 26 to December 2, 2025, the twin-island nation will host the third edition of its celebrated art festival under the bold and vibrant theme: “Culture in Color.” For travelers looking to move beyond the beach and experience the creative pulse of the Caribbean, this is your week.
You won’t just view the art—you’ll live it. Exhibits take over the airport, murals appear, dancers perform in the streets, and cocktails are served beside canvases still drying in the afternoon sun. It’s a festival made for the culturally curious, for those who want their vacation to mean something more.
“This is a platform where our artists tell their stories and inspire,” says Maria Blackman of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority. “It’s where creativity becomes connection.”
What To Expect During Art Week 2025
This year’s lineup is a full celebration of the creative spirit:

The Tourism Authority is now officially inviting artists—visual, digital, musical, literary, and more—to take part. Whether you’re an established gallery or an emerging dancer, there’s space for you here.
More Than a Festival — A Cultural Movement
Antigua and Barbuda Art Week has grown into a signature event, blending tourism with authentic cultural storytelling. It’s an opportunity for visitors to meet artists in their element, to learn about the history behind the brushstroke or the rhythm in the drumline.
For creatives, it’s also a high-visibility platform. The week brings promotional support, media exposure, and the chance to network with fellow artists, influencers, and art lovers from around the world.
And for travelers, it’s a reminder that paradise isn’t just a place — it’s an experience shaped by the people who live there and the stories they tell.
