American Airlines Is Adding More Daily Flights to Grand Cayman This Fall
Mornings on Seven Mile Beach. Afternoons at Rum Point. Evenings in Camana Bay. There’s a rhythm all its own on a visit to Grand Cayman, where a world-class culinary scene meets some of the best beaches on earth.
And now it’s getting easier to visit Grand Cayman this fall, with American Airlines planning to expand its daily service from Miami between October and November.
The schedule, which runs Oct. 6 and Nov. 1, will now include a second daily flight from Miami at 7 PM and a next-morning departure from Grand Cayman in the morning at 8:30 AM.
Most importantly, it helps make connections easier for travelers coming in from around the US and beyond.

The extra capacity is a testament to increasing demand for Cayman, according to Tourism Minister Gary Rutty, the Cayman Islands’ Deputy Premier and Minister of Tourism.
American Airlines is adding more flights to Cayman this year, with a new daily route set to launch between Chicago O’Hare and Grand Cayman beginning Dec. 18. That service will be running through the peak winter travel season and concluding in April of next year.
What about prices?
Airfares on American Airlines are running around $325 in October (that applies to both the morning and evening flights out of Miami).
Right now, the Miami-Grand Cayman flight runs around $536.
