A new flight is coming to Mobay.

The reggae. The jerk. The sand. The ackee. The pulse. Montego Bay is filled with music, beaches and bold flavors, and now it’s getting a new nonstop flight from within the Caribbean, Caribbean Journal has learned.

Fast-growing carrier LIAT 20 is adding a second flight to the island of Jamaica, with plans for a route launch on July 11.

The new nonstop flight is kicking off between Antigua’s VC Bird International Airport (long one of our favorite airports in the region), with three flights per week.

You should note that the flights operate on different days depending on whether they’re inbound or outbound.

Antigua-Montego Bay flights will run on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays; Montego Bay-Antigua flights will be on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The intra-regional carrier already operates flights between Antigua and Kingston, Jamaica’s capital, which launched back in late December, as we reported.

LIAT 20, the spiritual successor to the once-ubiquitous LIAT airline, has been working hard to fill its predecessor’s shoes, with new routes all over the Caribbean, including a new route to the pristine island of Barbuda.

You can find flight options on LIAT.
