Turks and Caicos Hotel Rooms Are Filling Up

By: Alexander Britell - May 23, 2025 - 10:31 am

Hotel occupancy continues to climb in the Turks and Caicos Islands, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The first quarter saw three months of solid growth, tourism officials revealed this week during the Caribbean Travel Marketplace conference in Antigua and Barbuda.

In January, occupancy was 70.5 percent, rising to 71.4 percent in February and 72.4 percent in March. That was accompanied by a rise in visitor arrivals, topping out at 76,850 stayover arrivals in March.

More notably? Average daily rates for the first quarter of 2025 were a whopping $1,544, the highest of any destination in the region.  Data was provided to Experience Turks and Caicos, the destination’s marketing organization, from analytics firm STR.

Of course, hotel prices are not as high in what is now the late spring and summer season.

The Grace Bay Club on Providenciales, for example, has rates at $896; the luxe Ritz-Carlton, Turks and Caicos has room rates starting at $912 per night.

One of our favorite places to stay in Provo, the wellness-focused Kokomo Botanical Resort, has rooms for $497 — that gets you a classic cottages with two bedrooms and a garden view.

Heading to Turks and Caicos right now? You can book American Airlines from Miami for $355 roundtrip, according to data from Google Flights.
