More JetBlue Flights to St Thomas
Flying to the US Virgin Islands has been getting easier in the last year, with more flights on carriers like American Airlines, Delta and United — along with lower-cost carriers like Sprit and Sun Country.
Now, JetBlue is getting in the game, with more flights from an increasingly important Caribbean source market: Boston.
JetBlue is now flying two weekly flights between Boston and St Thomas’ Cyril King Airport.
The new service is a doubling of its previous service from Boston, which is sending more travelers to the Caribbean than ever.
The nonstop flights are operating on Saturdays and Tuesdays.
It’s in large part thanks to the USVI’s creative marketing efforts, which saw the launch of a partnership between USVI tourism and the Boston Red Sox — helping to cultivate the built-in passion of Boston’s baseball fans at Fenway Park.
So what does it cost to fly from Boston to St Thomas?
Right now you can book a November trip for as low as $319 roundtrip, in JetBlue’s most basic fare class.
