From colorful Willemstad to buzzing Mambo Beach, the Curacao travel boom is showing no signs of slowing down.
The Dutch Caribbean island saw another record-breaking month in May, with 53,970 stay over visitors — a 24 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023.

It’s growth that the island’s tourism officials called “remarkable” in a statement provided to Caribbean Journal.
That included continued strong growth from the American market, with 14,276 US-based visitors — a 26 percent increase compared to May 2023.
For the year, Curacao has seen just under 300,000 stayover arrivals, a 30 percent jump over last year.
