This Aruba Resort Just Opened a New Comfort-Food Beach Shack

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - April 14, 2024

One of Aruba’s most beloved resorts has debuted a brand-new restaurant, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The Divi Aruba Phoenix Resort and Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort complex has debuted a new eatery called The Wave Shack.

The open-air eatery is a bar and restaurant with thin-crust pizzas, paninis and comfort food like burgers and fries. The latter includes a “built a burger” option, with everything from gouda to balsamic caramelized onions to basil pesto sauce available.

On the drinks side, there’s a selection of local and imported beers, rosé, sparkling wine and specialty cocktails like piña coladas and tequila sunrises.

It’s open every day from 11 AM to 7 PM, with a special happy hour every day between 2 and 3.
