Strong Momentum for St Kitts Tourism

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 1, 2024

It’s been a strong start to the year for tourism in St Kitts, with a number of accolades and a growing number of stay over arrivals.

“We are thrilled with the ongoing success that St. Kitts has received over the past year,” said Ellison “Tommy” Thompson, CEO of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority. “Our new campaigns and promotions will help keep the momentum going throughout 2024 and beyond. We look forward to increasing awareness, sharing the beauty of the island, and providing a memorable travel experience to those visiting St. Kitts.”

St Kitts recently unveiled their new “Venture Deeper” out-of-home activation, one that includes wrapping of taxis across New York City, particularly in higher-traffic areas.

That comes as the island continues to grow its airlift, particularly out of the all-important US market.

JetBlue recently kicked off its first-ever flights to St Kitts, while American Airliens is now running nonstop flights between New York and St Kitts on Saturdays running through Aug. 31, 2024.

United is running weekly Saturday flights through Aug. 17.

Next month, the destination will host its popular St Kitts-Nevis Cross Channel Swim, which will be held on April 6.
