United Airlines Adding More Newark-Bonaire Flights

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - September 11, 2023

United airlines is ramping up its service to the Dutch Caribbean island of Bonaire next winter, responding to growing demand for the destination.

Beginning in January, United will be launching two additional weekly flights between Newark and Bonaire.

The expanded service will start Jan. 10, 2024, including roundtrip Sunday and Wednesday flights.

The broader schedule will run through April 24.

In a statement, Tourism Corporation Bonaire CEO Miles Mercera said he was excited about the new flights, saying the expansion “reflects the company’s growing reputation among US travelers and will help showcase Bonaire’s unique culture, natural setting, warm weather, and culinary scene.”
