Grand Hyatt Baha Mar Names New Managing Director

The Grand Hyatt Baha Mar resort ha named a new managing director, Caribbean Journal has learned. 

The 1,800-room resort on Cable Beach in Nassau, The Bahamas has tapped Peter McMahon to the role. 

“I am thrilled to join Grand Hyatt Baha Mar as Managing Director.  The resort and its colleagues have established a truly world-class destination that delivers a remarkable luxury experience to its guests.  I also look forward to working closely with the Baha Mar Foundation and share their goals of bringing positive impacts to our local community” said Peter McMahon, Managing Director, Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. “Seeing our team members achieve and advance in their careers has been a constant source of joy to me throughout my career, and I am excited for the many opportunities to come at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar.”

McMahon served most recently as managing director of the Carmel Valley Ranch; his previous stops have included Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Hyatt Regency San Antonio, Grand Hyatt San Antonio, and the Hyatt Regency Savannah.
