The Park Hyatt St Kitts Just Named a New Executive Chef

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - July 30, 2023

The Park Hyatt St Kitts has named a new executive chef to lead its culinary program, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The resort on St Kitts’ southeastern peninsula has tapped Karl Christian Aular as its new executive chef. In the role, he will oversee the property’s three signature eateries: Great House Fisherman’s Village and Stone Barn.

He will also be working to enhance the property’s culinary programming “with the mission to continue immersing guests in the island’s rich heritage and culture through food,” according to the property.

Aular most recently served as head chef at the Hyatt Regency Bishkek Kyrgyzstan. He has also previously worked at the Grand Hyatt Doha in Qatar and as chef de cuisine for the banquet kitchen at the Park Hyatt Mallorca, among other stops.

“We are thrilled to welcome Chef Karl Christian Aular and his global culinary prowess to Park Hyatt St. Kitts,” said Richard Elliot, General Manager of Park Hyatt St. Kitts. “His exceptional background working with different types of cuisines in leading restaurants worldwide will add an innovative flair to our dining program. We are confident that Chef Aular will implement exciting fresh ideas into the resort’s dining experiences while delivering the level of service and quality that our guests are accustomed to.”
