Caribbean Airlines Makes Inaugural Flight to St Kitts

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - July 25, 2023

Caribbean Airlines has added a new destination in the region: the Eastern Caribbean island of St Kitts.

The regional carrier’s first-ever flight to St Kitts’ Robert L Bradshaw International Airport touched down this week, a major milestone for efforts to improve intra-regional travel.

“This new flight adds to the ever-changing increase of airlift into the Federation and this is the third announcement of inaugural flights in just four months,” said St Kitts Tourism Minister Marsha Henderson. “For any travel destination, convenient and efficient transportation is a key factor that determines its popularity among travelers. The easier it is for visitors to arrive at their destination, the more likely they are to choose the destination for further vacation.”

Caribbean Airlines has already kicked off service that begins in Trinidad, stops in Antigua and arrives in St Kitts.

Next week, the airline is adding another route that will link two islands: St Kitts and Barbados.

“With Caribbean Airlines expanding its services to include St. Kitts, we open new doors to visitors to discover the pristine beaches, our lush rainforest and our historical landmarks awaiting them on our shores,” Henderson said.
