Air Canada Just Restarted Nonstop Saint Lucia Flights

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - October 11, 2022

Air Canada has officially restarted its weekly nonstop service between Toronto and Saint Lucia.

The weekly flight is currently operating on Sundays on Air Canada’s Rouge brand.

In November, however, the carrier will be increasing its Saint Lucia service to four weekly flights, with trips on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays through Nov. 9.

More flights will be added for the holiday season, when Air Canada will operate five weekly flights until Dec. 18, according to the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority.

, Saint Lucia.

That will be followed by six flights during the week of Dec. 18-25, with five weekly flights January to March.

“This service will provide Canadians with more viable options to explore our beautiful island,” the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority said in a statement. “Canada is one of our main source markets, adding to our growth and tourism product.:”

The restart comes after Canada just removed all of its exit and return travel restrictions, a move the travel industry believes will lead to strong traffic to the Caribbean in particular.
