Anguilla Targets Luxury Travel Advisors in London With a Renewed U.K. Push

The island reached 200 travel professionals at Virtuoso On Tour London.

Anguilla is putting travel advisors at the center of its latest U.K. marketing push, pairing direct outreach to Virtuoso members.

The Anguilla Tourist Board participated in Virtuoso On Tour London 2026 this past week, with Deputy Director of Tourism Chantelle Richardson delivering a destination presentation to 200 travel professionals during the event’s lunch program.

The engagement gave Anguilla a concentrated audience of advisors serving luxury travelers, along with an opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and introduce the island to new trade contacts.

An Advisor-Focused Luxury Pitch

Richardson’s presentation centered on the range of trips advisors can sell: beach vacations, private villa stays, culinary experiences, wellness escapes and travel shaped around personalized hospitality.

The presentation addressed couples, honeymooners, families and clients seeking privacy, positioning the island across several segments of the luxury market.

That breadth gives advisors several starting points for a client conversation. A honeymoon inquiry can begin with accommodations and seclusion; a family trip can center on a villa; a repeat Caribbean traveler may respond to dining and experiences beyond the hotel.

Anguilla’s message in London brought those possibilities together, emphasizing the combination of accommodations, beaches and experiences available within one destination.

“The United Kingdom remains an important source market within Anguilla’s international marketing strategy,” Richardson said. “Virtuoso On Tour London provided a valuable platform to showcase our distinctive tourism offerings and engage directly with travel advisors whose expertise and recommendations influence their clients’ travel decisions.”

She said the priority was to translate those relationships into sustained interest, bookings and economic benefits for the island.

The Goal Is Bookings and Year-Round Demand

The tourist board described the London engagement as part of a wider international marketing and trade program across priority source markets.

Its stated objectives extend beyond attendance at industry events: stronger advisor relationships, more destination recommendations, increased bookings and visitor spending that reaches hotels, villas, restaurants, transportation providers and attractions.

The effort also aims to encourage year-round demand while supporting responsible tourism growth and protecting Anguilla’s identity and natural assets.

That distinction is relevant for advisors assessing the island’s direction. The tourist board is presenting trade engagement as an ongoing sales channel, with success tied to the business those relationships generate.

What Advisors Should Take From the Visit

The immediate takeaway is Anguilla’s continued investment in the luxury advisor channel, supported by fresh U.K. representation and planning already underway for 2027.

Its London presentation gave advisors a broad selling framework: match the client to the right accommodation, then shape the trip around food, wellness, beaches or privacy.

The next step will be how that positioning translates into practical trade support. For now, the London appearance signals a clear priority: keeping Anguilla in the advisor’s consideration set when a client asks for a luxury Caribbean vacation.
