Lopesan Is Opening 3 New Dominican Republic All-Inclusive Resorts, With Swim-Up Rooms, an Adults-Only Retreat, and a Family Water Park

Bávaro’s shoreline stretches wide and level, a long band of white sand edged by warm, steady surf. You step off the path and your feet sink into soft sand that holds the imprint of your stride for a few seconds before the breeze brushes it smooth. Palms line the resort edge in steady rows, their fronds shifting overhead. The water stays swimmable most days, with gentle waves and a shallow gradient that lets you wade out gradually, chest-deep. You can stand there for an hour, watching catamarans idle offshore and parasails lift slowly into the sky.
The beach is built for long afternoons. Loungers sit in neat lines facing the Atlantic. The white sand stays firm enough for morning walks, wide enough that you never feel pressed between resorts. Early in the day, the shoreline belongs to walkers and swimmers; by midday it fills with families, couples and groups settling in for hours at a time. The light stays bright, the breeze steady.
This is the stunning stretch beach of Punta Cana that has defined the Dominican Republic’s all-inclusive rise — easy airlift from major North American and European cities, short airport transfers measured in minutes, and large beachfront resorts designed for full-week stays. You land at one of the region’s best airports, clear customs quickly, and within half an hour you are on your vacation. You have everything: wide properties, multiple pools, dozens of dining options, and beach access.
Over the past two decades, Bávaro has become one of the Caribbean’s greatest vacation corridors, where it all just works.
Now Lopesan Hotel Group is adding three more reasons to book it.
Later this spring, the hospitality company will open Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort, Spa & Casino, Lopesan Serenity Bay (Adults Only) and Lopesan Splash Cove, expanding its integrated resort footprint in the Bávaro district and reinforcing Punta Cana’s status as one of the Caribbean’s most concentrated all-inclusive zones.
It reinforces the all-inclusive company’s position as the top all-inclusive operator in Punta Cana, something that began when it first debuted its Costa Bavaro all-inclusive resort — one that, at the time, we described as the best new all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana.
The three new properties are designed with distinct identities — water-forward luxury, adults-only retreat and family-centered leisure — all connected within one broader beachfront complex.
Here’s how the expansion breaks down.
Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort, Spa & Casino
At Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort, Spa & Casino, water is the organizing principle.
The design incorporates cenote-inspired pools and expansive lagoons that move through landscaped gardens, creating multiple swim environments across the property. Instead of a single central pool, guests circulate among different aquatic spaces throughout the day.
There’s the Vela Beach Club Pool, positioned for longer afternoons in a lounged setting. A Wave Pool introduces movement and sound. Aquatica Waterpark adds a high-energy element within the resort grounds. Private beach access connects the lagoon environment directly to the Atlantic shoreline.
The experience is structured so you can shift settings without changing pace — lagoon in the morning, beach before lunch, pool in late afternoon, then cocktails on The Boulevard at night.
Wellness infrastructure is significant. Plans call for a 16,000-square-foot spa with 31 treatment rooms, along with expansive fitness facilities. The spa footprint alone positions Caoba Lagoon among the larger wellness builds in the Punta Cana corridor.
The property is also equipped for group and event travel. The Lopesan Convention Center offers flexible indoor venues for conferences, destination weddings and large celebrations. Outdoor garden areas and beachfront sections provide additional ceremony settings.
At the center of the entire complex is The Boulevard, an open-air promenade linking Caoba Lagoon, Serenity Bay, Splash Cove and the existing Lopesan Costa Bávaro. The Boulevard includes chef-driven restaurants, casual eateries, cocktail bars and nightlife venues, forming the connective tissue between the resorts.
Lopesan Serenity Bay (Adults Only)
For travelers seeking a quieter base, Lopesan Serenity Bay provides an adults-only alternative within the same district.
The resort features 239 suites, all housed within a single contemporary building, creating a more contained footprint compared to the broader family-oriented properties nearby. The design prioritizes proximity and access — suites, pool and dining are all within a short walk.
Serenity Bay guests have access to the complex’s shared entertainment venues, including an 820-seat theater, a nightclub and a casino. Within the adults-only environment, exclusive dining options include Enclave, an à la carte restaurant; The Garden, a buffet concept; and Calma Bar, located poolside.
The structure allows you to move into the energy of the larger complex when you want it and return to a quieter setting when you don’t.
Lopesan Splash Cove
Families and multigenerational groups anchor the concept at Lopesan Splash Cove.
The resort includes 244 rooms within a five-story building surrounded by landscaped gardens. The focus here is shared activity. Facilities feature five pools, including a dedicated children’s pool, along with programmed areas for sports and entertainment.
Lounging zones are positioned near activity areas, allowing parents and grandparents to remain close while children use water features. The beach is located approximately 720 meters from the resort and accessible through the broader complex.
Splash Cove expands Lopesan’s appeal to travelers who want a large, activity-driven resort with proximity to the same Boulevard, nightlife and beach infrastructure as the adults-only and lagoon-focused properties.
The Anchor: Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort, Spa & Casino
The three new resorts join the already operating Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort, Spa & Casino, which has become one of the most visible properties along this stretch of Punta Cana.
Costa Bávaro is a large-scale beachfront resort with more than 1,000 rooms and suites arranged across multiple buildings near the sand. Its footprint includes several pools, a sizable casino, a full-service spa and one of the most active central promenades in the area.
One of the defining features is The Boulevard, the open-air retail and dining corridor that runs through the heart of the development. It houses specialty restaurants, bars and entertainment venues that stay active after dinner, extending the day well beyond sunset. You walk from your room to dinner without leaving the resort zone, then continue on to a bar, a show or the casino.
Another key differentiator is the Unique Club, Lopesan’s elevated tier within Costa Bávaro. Unique Club guests receive access to private check-in areas, dedicated pools and lounges, upgraded room categories and enhanced in-room amenities. The concept functions as a resort-within-a-resort for travelers who want additional privacy and upgraded services without changing properties.
Swim-up rooms are a strong draw at Costa Bávaro. Ground-floor accommodations connect directly to semi-private pool channels, allowing guests to step from their terrace into the water. These room categories have proven particularly popular with couples and small groups booking week-long stays.
Costa Bávaro’s beachfront position remains central to its appeal. The main infinity-style pool runs parallel to the ocean, with clear sightlines to the shoreline. Loungers and daybeds extend toward the sand, and beach service connects the pool deck to the waterline.
The addition of Caoba Lagoon, Serenity Bay and Splash Cove expands this model — multiple resort identities tied together by shared entertainment, dining and beachfront access.
Getting to Punta Cana
Punta Cana International Airport remains one of the Caribbean’s busiest and most accessible gateways. Major U.S. cities including New York, Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Boston and Dallas offer nonstop service, along with extensive connectivity from Canada and Europe.
The airport is about 20 to 30 minutes from the Bávaro resort corridor. Most travelers transfer via private car, shared shuttle or pre-arranged resort transportation. The short airport-to-hotel drive reduces transit time on arrival and departure days — one of Punta Cana’s longstanding advantages over destinations with longer inland transfers.
With strong year-round airlift and high seat capacity, Punta Cana supports both short four-night escapes and full seven-night all-inclusive stays.
What This Expansion Signals
Lopesan’s three-resort expansion reflects sustained investment confidence in Punta Cana’s north coast corridor. By segmenting product — lagoon-centered luxury, adults-only suites and family-focused leisure — within one integrated destination, the company is deepening its footprint while broadening its audience.
Travelers booking Bávaro in 2026 will see a larger Lopesan presence across multiple property types, all tied to the same Boulevard, casino and beachfront district.
On a stretch of coast already defined by large all-inclusive brands, the addition of three coordinated resorts from Lopesan reinforces Punta Cana’s position as a high-capacity, high-choice Caribbean hub — a place where you land, transfer quickly and settle into a beachfront routine within the hour.
