Anguilla Is Getting New Nonstop Flights From Boston, Newark, and Baltimore in December

Anguilla is about to get a lot closer for American travelers. This winter, the island will welcome new nonstop service from three major US cities, a development that marks one of the most significant airlift expansions to the destination in years.

AnguillAir, operated by BermudAir, will launch direct flights from Boston, Newark and Baltimore in mid-December.

The Boston route kicks off on December 17 with twice-weekly service on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Newark service begins on December 18, with flights every Thursday and Sunday. Baltimore joins the schedule on December 19, operating Fridays and Mondays. All flights will arrive at Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport, just minutes from the island’s top beaches and resorts.

For years, most travelers reached Anguilla by way of neighboring St. Maarten, typically connecting by ferry or private charter. That changed with the new American Airlines flight from Miami, and now the floodgates are opening.

The new nonstop routes change that equation entirely, offering a smooth, direct path to one of the Caribbean’s most exclusive and serene destinations. It’s a big win for travelers who want to maximize their time on the island — and for Anguilla’s hospitality sector.

That sector is anchored by some of the region’s most beloved hotels and resorts. The island is home to icons like Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club, a sprawling luxury retreat that combines a world-class golf course with powder-soft sands and sweeping views of Rendezvous Bay — a beach we’ve regularly called one of the top stretches of sand in the Caribbean.

Over on Meads Bay, the intimate Frangipani Beach Resort embodies the effortless elegance that defines Anguilla, with a low-rise design, barefoot-chic atmosphere and direct access to one of the island’s most beautiful beaches.

Anguilla’s quiet appeal has always been its secret weapon: turquoise water, exceptional dining, and a sense of calm that feels rare in the Caribbean. Now, with nonstop flights from Boston, Newark and Baltimore, that magic is about to get a little easier to reach.

The expanded airlift is expected to give the island’s tourism industry a meaningful boost this winter, attracting more visitors while preserving the understated, exclusive character that makes Anguilla so special.
