Southwest Airlines Is Adding a New Nonstop Flight From Nashville to Montego Bay
It may be one of the most instantly recognizable names in Caribbean travel: Montego Bay. From Kokomo to Cocktail, it’s a name that instantly conjures up images of white sand, rum punch and palm trees.
And it’s a destination that remains one of the most popular places to visit in the Caribbean, from its vast network of all-inclusive resorts to its authentic, charming luxury resorts like Half Moon.
Unsurprisingly, Montego Bay continues to attract new airlift from across the United States — and now it’s getting another new route from an increasingly important city for Caribbean travel: Nashville.
The Tennessee capital has been seeing big population growth in recent years, and that’s turning it into a full-fledged source market for travel to the region (a bit like another fast-growing US city, Austin). In fact, earlier this year Southwest launched another Caribbean route from Nashville, with nonstop service to Punta Cana.
The newest route? Nonstop service from Nashville to Montego Bay on Southwest Airlines, which will begin next March.
On March 7, 2026, the carrier (which used to be considered a low-cost airline but, well, usually has prices in line with airlines like AA and JetBlue anyway) will kick off weekly flights operating on Saturdays.
It’s another much-needed boost for Montego Bay, which has been seeing slower growth 2025 than in the post-pandemic period.
So what about prices? You can book nonstop service in March 2026 for about $815 roundtrip, according to Southwest’s booking engine.
