Barbados Is Getting a New Autograph-Collection All-Inclusive Resort, It’s Already Taking Bookings

By: Alexander Britell - March 21, 2025 - 11:26 am

The beaches. The rum shops. The shopping. The flying fish. Barbados has abundant charms, and what many travelers may not realize is that the island is also home to a number of high-quality, intimate all-inclusive resort options (including newly-upgraded hotels like Treasure Beach and Tamarind).

Next year, the island is getting another one: the Royalton CHIC Barbados, which is set on the island’s west coast and will be the newest Caribbean outpost for Royalton’s fun, adults-only CHIC brand.

You can now book rooms as early as August 2026, according to Royalton’s website, Caribbean Journal has confirmed.

The resort’s planned debut comes as demand for both the all-inclusive and adults-only holidays has “never been stronger,” as Blue Diamond President Jordi Pelfort said in a statement provided to Caribbean Journal.

It’s a “new era of upscale travel,” he said. And that’s very much true: as our data and inquiry volume shows, they’re two of the most in-demand facets of travel, particularly in the Caribbean.

The resort will have 220 suites, along with seven dining concepts, the popular Royalton FIT gym, a spa and, most notably, a rooftop lounge called Level 18 (part of a welcome trend of rooftop concepts at Barbados resorts, from Sandals Barbados to the lovely tapas part at the O2 Beach Club on the south coast).

So what about prices at the property? Rates at Royalton CHIC Barbados start at $848 per night, all-inclusive, for stays beginning August. 1. That works out to about $3,391.92 for a four-night stay in a luxury junior suite, the entry-level accommodation.

There are swim-out options (and you know how we feel about them): luxury junior swim-outs that are also part of the property’s Diamond Club elevated accommodations. That comes with touches like a butler-prepped jacuzzi and a rain shower. That rooms works out to about $4,875.88 for four nights.

Can’t wait for next summer? The island has some very good vacation options in the all-inclusive space right now, from The Club, Barbados (Rooms from $501) to the recently-made-over Waves Resort, which is also part of the Marriott All-Inclusive umbrella and has rooms for $1,115 per night, all-inclusive (that gets you an oceanfront room with a king bed).

Why about flights? A Miami-Barbados roundtrip starts at about $477 in the spring, and is actually just $377 roundtrip on American Airlines out of New York.
