Eataly, LEGO and a “Dirty Dancing” Production. MSC’s Major New Cruise Ship Is Coming to the Caribbean Next Month.

The first-ever Eataly at sea. A LEGO zone. A “swing ride” that takes you out over the water. It’s the most highly-anticipated new cruise ship of 2025, and it’s coming to the Caribbean next month: MSC World America, which is arriving in Miami on April 9. 

The new ship has “something for everyone,” says Orlando Bloom, who is starring in MSC’s new commercials.

And that’s true, from an 11-story dry slide to a water park to a “Dirty Dancing in Concert” production. 

And yes, it includes Eataly at Sea, easily the coolest new food and beverage concept on a cruise ship in years. 

The menu includes the “icons of Italian gastronomy,” along with favorites from Eataly’s food halls and special ship-exclusive offerings. 

That’s along with bar concepts like The Loft, which is open only to adults and a sports bar called All Stars. 

The family offering is impressive, anchored by a partnership with LEGO that includes a LEGO parade, a “family zone” and a “Game Show” that lets guests compete against each other in timed building challenges. 

So where is it sailing? 

MSC World America is running weekly sailings, with seven-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean that stop in places like Puerto Plata, Cozumel and San Juan, among others. All sailings come with a stop at the Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, which is the brand’s private destination in The Bahamas. 

So what about prices? You can find rates starting at around $707 per person for seven-night trips in April.
