Brad Dean, CEO of Puerto Rico’s destination marketing organization, Discover Puerto Rico, is on his way out, according to the organization. 

Dean is stepping down to take over the role as president and CEO of Explore St. Louis, the Midwestern city’s chief tourism role.

The move will take effect in February. 

“Brad’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping the success of Discover Puerto Rico and the Island’s tourism industry. We are incredibly grateful for his contributions and wish him all the best in his new role,” said José M. Suárez, Chairman of the Discover Puerto Rico board of directors. 

Dean has served as CEO of Discover Puerto Rico since 2018. 

“It has been my honor to represent this special destination and its promising tourism industry,” Dean said in a statement.
