The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association’s CHIEF event is back in Miami this November.

CHIEF, the “Caribbean Hospitality Industry Exchange Forum,” runs Nov. 18-20 at the Kovens Conference Center in Miami.

The event is a high-level gathering of hoteliers, tourism professionals and other stakeholders in the Caribbean, held this year under a theme called “Keeping It Real: Amplifying Caribbean Tourism through Authenticity, Integration, and Immersion.”

“Today’s travelers seek far more than simply ‘Sun, Sea, and Sand.’ They desire immersive, bespoke experiences that capture the true spirit of the Caribbean,” said CHTA Chief Executive Officer Vanessa Ledesma. “Our region’s rich cultural diversity stands as its greatest strength, positioning authenticity as the ultimate differentiator. Through a focus on culture, diversity, personalization, and innovation, CHIEF’s sessions will equip Caribbean businesses to harness emerging trends, delivering unforgettable experiences that resonate with discerning, experience-driven travelers.”

The event will cover marketing, revenue strategies, sports tourism, technology and other topics.

It will be accompanied by the return of the beloved Taste of the Caribbean event, which pits national culinary teams from across the region in an interactive competition.
