A New Caribbean Beach Club You Can Only Reach By Boat

The club is set on Little Jumby island.

You may know the Jumby name from Jumby Bay Island, one of the region’s most exclusive private island destinations.

But right next door is another island with the Jumby name – and it’s about to be home to a seriously cool new beach club: It’s called The Hut, Little Jumby, and it’s a beach club that you can only reach by boat.

The beach club can be accessed by a short ferry that runs every 30 minutes from the Jumby Bay resort or via private boat from Antigua’s north coast.

There’s also a regular shuttle from the mainland via the club’s mainland dock.

It’s the essence of the beach-day fantasy: delicious food on the sand (led by executive head chef Felipe Rubio and chef de cuisine Elio Debae), beach cabanas, Beach Huts and, of course, a bar. The tiny island of Little Jumby also has a host of walking trails across its 15 acres.

The idea is for The Hut to become the “Caribbean’s most sought-after private island Bech club and restaurant.”

Its official debut is planned for November.
