It’s About to Get Easier to Fly to the Island of Dominica
Secret Bay: it’s one of the crown jewels of the Caribbean, a six-star eco-luxury resort that single-handedly put Dominica on the map for luxury travelers.
And now, it’s about to get a whole lot easier to reach the legendary resort.
American Airlines is ramping up its flights between Miami and Dominica, with plans for daily service beginning in June.
From June 5 to Aug. 5, American will be running daily flights to Douglas-Charles Airport in Dominica. Daily service will then resume between October. 7 and March 31, 2025, the latter a particularly significant boost for the island in the winter season.

The expanded flights come as Secret Bay prepares to unveil a major expansion of its resort, including some spectacular new villas with private plunge pools and all of the resort’s famous bespoke amenities.
