At Casa de Campo’s Epicurea Festival, the Dominican Republic’s Top Golf and Food Event

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - April 1, 2024

Teeing off on the Caribbean’s greatest golf course. Dining on Michelin-quality food. Savoring crafted cocktails.

The latest edition of Casa de Campo’s Epicurea festival was another big hit, with the unique golf-and-food event bringing together a collection of world-class celebrity chefs at La Romana’s legendary destination resort in the Dominican Republic.

That included Chefs Michael Anthony, Alex Lee, Esther Ha and Bryan Noury, who were on hand for a lineup of intimate dinners and tasting events, with days filled up by championship golf.

“We continue to remain focused on elevating our culinary experiences and dining options for our community and resort guests alike, and Epicurea provided us with another unique program that complemented our growing culinary culture,” said Jason Kycek, vice president of sales and marketing at Casa de Campo.

“We look forward to welcoming them all back again next year and taking this event to new heights and culinary explorations.”

This year’s Epicurea was held four four nights last month, with a blend of golfing and dining, including rounds at the property’s celebrated Dye Fore and Teeth of the Dog.

It was another strong showing for Casa de Campo, which just debuted its new resort-within-a-resort, the Premier Club, and a state-of-the-art wellness center that is the most innovative in the Caribbean.

And yes, Epicurea will be back again next year, running from Jan. 5-9, 2025, the next iteration of what Casa de Campo calls “ “a golf event for those who love food.”
