Arajet Expanding Dominican Republic-Colombia Flights

Colombia is becoming an increasingly important source market for Caribbean tourism, and more air carriers are taking note. 

From airlines like Wingo to established carriers like Avianca, more and more companies are adding flights to the Colombia-Caribbean corridor. 

That includes fast-growing Dominican Republic-based carrier Arajet, which just announced plans to increase frequencies between Medellin, Bogota and Cartagena and Santo Domingo. 

“Arajet is committed to supporting initiatives that promote the growth of the tourism sector,” said Manuel Luna, communications director for Arajet. “We are increases flights to these cities to continue betting on connectivity as an important factor for the development of the tourism industry.”

Beginning in March, Arajet will start flying to Medellin, with service four days per week.
