Hilton Just Opened a New All-Inclusive Resort in Curacao

By: Alexander Britell - December 19, 2023

Hilton has been adding new all-inclusive resorts all over the Caribbean, from Playa del Carmen to La Romana to Cancun.

It’s no surprise why: all-inclusive is the hottest thing in travel, as more and more visitors demand the convenience and all-encompassing comfort of the all-inclusive concept. Now, Hilton has opened its newest all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean, this time in one of the region’s fastest-growing all-inclusive hotspots: the Dutch Caribbean island of Curacao, which has seen a wave of development in the last few years.

The new Rif at Mangrove Beach Corendon Curacao All-Inclusive is part of the Curio by Hilton collection.

The resort has a collection of swim-up rooms.

The 385-room resort (some of them are swim-up rooms) held its grand opening this week as the second Corendon all-inclusive on the island.

The property has a prime beachfront pool, along with access to 20 different restaurants (when including guest access to the existing Mangrove Beach Corendon resort.) At the Rif, that includes seven different restaurants, ranging from a pool bar to a pair of buffets to a Turkish restaurant called “Sofra.”

There’s also a thatched-roof beach bar called Sunset.

It’s the latest addition to Curacao’s impressive all-inclusive portfolio, which includes brands like Dreams, Zoetry, Sunscape and, most notably, the new Sandals Royal Curacao.

As tourist arrival numbers in Curacao continue to boom, the island is working to cultivate a different kind of all-inclusive resort product, one that encourages guests to get out beyond the resort and delve into the community.
