Sunwing is planning a big push to the island of Grand Bahama in The Bahamas this winter.

The Canadian travel giant is relaunching a pair of routes to Freeport in December: service between Montreal and Freeport and service between Toronto and Freeport.

It’s a significant addition for Grand Bahama, where Sunwing returned last year for the first time since the pandemic.

Service from both Montreal and Toronto kicks off on Dec. 16, according to Sunwing’s Web site.

Sunwing is offering vacation packages with flights and stays at hotels like the Lighthouse Pointe at Grand Lucayana, Viva Fortuna Beach By Wyndham and Pelican Bay, among others.
