The Caribbean Tourism Organization’s State of the Industry Conference, one of the region’s premier tourism gatherings, has begun in Turks and Caicos.

This year’s event, the first since before the pandemic, is being hosted at the Shore Club resort in Providenciales.

The event kicks off with a focus on Tourism Investment and Financing in the Caribbean.

On Oct. 12, delegates will examine “Drivers for Caribbean Tourism Growth.”

This year’s event will also see the return of the organization’s popular Caribbean Tourism Youth Congress, which brings together students between the ages of 14 and 17 share their visions for the future of Caribbean tourism.
