Cruise season has officially begun on the island of Antigua.
Luxury small-ship brand Seabourn kicked off the opening of the season with the arrival of Seabourn Pursuit this week.
The 264-passenger ship was the first to call on Heritage Quay in St John’s, part of what’s expected to be a “robust season,” according to Antigua Cruise Port.
Indeed, cruise port executives say this will be the “best since the pandemic,” according to a statement.
Several cruise lines will be home-porting in Antigua once again, including P&O Cruises, whose Aria ship will be home-porting in St John’s, along with the luxury super yacht Emerald Sakara.
Turnaround calls with Royal Clipper, Star Clipper and SeaDream are also scheduled for later on in the season.
