The Caribbean’s Hottest New Adults-Only Resort Is in Antigua

By: Alexander Britell - October 7, 2023

You’re on your balcony peering out at the serene beauty of a national park. There’s blue water and green hills as far as you can see; the only sounds are tropical birds and swaying palm trees.

A short stroll away, you can find boundless energy: brand new pickleball courts, the largest mini-golf course in Antigua, a sports bar called the Wavy Wicket, and nightly entertainment.

It’s the best of both worlds: and precisely why you book an adults-only resort in the Caribbean.

There are two beaches at the resort.

This is The Verandah Antigua, which reopens its doors on Nov. 17 following a major renovation as the Caribbean’s hottest new adults-only all-inclusive resort, an all-inclusive that’s part of the Elite Island Resorts portfolio.

Set on 30 waterfront acres, The Verandah Antigua has just about everything: two spectacular white-sand beaches; three upscale indoor restaurants; three casual open-air eateries; plenty of bars serving hand-crafted cocktails; four different pools; and an outstanding wellness center called the Tranquility Body and Soul Spa.

If you haven’t noticed, adults-only resorts are the hottest thing in Caribbean travel right now, as travelers look for that perfect blend of serenity and entertainment, relaxation and activity.

And that’s what you’ll find here, particularly in the 180 charming suites, all beautifully Caribbean cottage-style designs, all surrounded by lush foliage and a delicious feeling of privacy, from waterfront rooms to hillside escapes.

It’s got everything you want in an adults-only vacation.

The mini-golf course has challenging layouts and modern designs.

It’s a major new addition to the Caribbean adults-only landscape, and a refreshing departure from the kinds of high-rise, high-density resorts that define many adults-only hotels today.

The Verandah Antigua is different: it’s about an authentic Caribbean experience, about savoring the beauty of the Caribbean, about offering options for every aspect of the adults-only getaway.

Even better? The Verandah Antigua is offering a new all-inclusive rate starting at $399 per room, per night, with a free upgrade if you book for three nights or longer.  Book seven nights or longer and you’ll also receive an instant $500 air credit.  Reserve by the end of October and you can choose a vacation between Nov. 17 and March 31, 2024.

And then you can get right to enjoying that view.
