New Flights Between Punta Cana, Aruba

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - October 7, 2023

There will soon be a new way to fly between Punta Cana and Aruba, Caribbean Journal has learned.

Caribbean airline Air Century is launching direct, year-round service between Punta Cana and Aruba, the Aruba Airport confirmed this week.

The new route will launch Dec. 15, with service three times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Air Century will be operating the service on CRJ-200 aircraft with 50 seats per flight. It is expected to add around 150 seats each week to Aruba.

Air Century is planning to expand capacity on the route next year, with plans to upgrade to CRJ-700 aircraft with 70 seats.

“We are thrilled to welcome Air Century’s expanded services from Punta Cana to Aruba. This aligns perfectly with our commitment to continuously improve point to point connectivity for travelers and connections to the Caribbean and beyond,” said the airport’s Aviation Business Development Executive, Jo-Anne Meaux-Arends. “We highly value our partnership with Air Century and look forward to offering our passengers even more convenient and affordable travel options.”
