Celebrity Is Adding More Caribbean Cruises From Florida

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - August 18, 2023

Celebrity Cruises is planning an expanded push to the Caribbean next year, with four ships sailing to the Caribbean out of Florida.

In the winter 2024-2025 season, Celebrity will send Celebrity Apex, Celebrity Constellation, Celebrity Equinox, and Celebrity Summit out of ports including Port Canaveral, Port Tampa Bay and Port Everglades for more than 40 itineraries to the Caribbean.

That will include a range of options, from shorter getaways (following the trend of sister brand Royal Caribbean Cruises) and longer seven and nine-night cruises.

Celebrity Apex will include five new sailings out of Port Everglades.

A number of the voyages will stop at Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day at CocoCay cruise destination in The Bahamas.

“We are so excited to unveil this new program. It provides our guests with more options to experience the natural beauty of the Caribbean, which is elevated by our personalized experiences on board,” says Laura Hodges Bethge, President of Celebrity Cruises. “As part of this expansion, we are thrilled to add Port Canaveral to our list of home ports – it is a perfect market to reach a wide mix of both in- and out-of-state travelers looking for fun in the Caribbean sun.”

That will include Celebrity’s first-ever home-porting at Port Canaveral, with 20 new itineraries from November through April 2025.
